EM -MS. AUSTRALIA
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? I am relatively new to pageantry, with my participation in Ms World Universal being my first pageant I have ever been a part of. I have always watched from afar events such as Miss Universe and Miss World, but never saw myself ever being a part of this world myself… that was, until World Universal and I found each other through a mutual friend and beautiful soul, Robbie Canner. I can honestly say, if I hadn’t watched, in total awe and with total admiration, Robbie’s journey I would not have started on this amazing, life changing journey myself. I knew however, if I was going to be a part of World Universal, my journey had to mean something, so when I learned that the mission behind World Universal was “Pageants with a Purpose, I knew I had found the pageant for me. It is this mission that continues to inspire me and keeps me on this journey.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
I have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity throughout my life to achieve so many incredible things that I am truly proud of…. I was crowned Ms Australia World Universal at the age of 47, I have climbed mountains, I have trekked Kokoda, I have run marathons and ultra marathons and I have travelled the world, largely on my own. All of these things carry a massive sense of achievement and pride, however my biggest challenge and biggest accomplishment I can honestly say is the birth of my beautiful son at the age of 40. The unconditional love I feel for this incredible human being. The privilege and pride I feel in watching him grow and learn about life and the person he wants to become are second to none. If I can leave this world knowing I can give my son the tools, the courage and self confidence to be the best version of himself every day and to treat others with kindness and respect, then I will have done one good job as a mumma bear.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I was recently asked “How do you prepare for Ms World Universal?” which I found to be a really interesting question… sure, I prepare my pack list, my travel, my gowns, my outfits and itinerary etc, but in regards to how I prepare myself, the answer is simple… the person you see on stage is the person you see off stage. I believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated, I believe in living a life with integrity, purpose, passion, respect and self belief. I believe a woman should be recognised for who she is as a person, not how she looks. My goal each day is to be the best version of myself and to make a difference in someone else’s day, even if just in some small way. Do I believe I am any more deserving of the title of Ms World Universal, no… but do I do believe I am the right person to represent World Universal, yes, absolutely! Why? I feel the values of World Universal are my values. I feel that I am relatable and approachable and I believe I am a great representation of woman's strength, value and beauty shining from the inside out and I believe I am proof that any woman can achieve anything at any age.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
People often ask me why I do what I do. It is not for the title, nor is it for the sash or the crown. All of these things are an added bonus and an honour and a privilege to wear while representing World Universal, but for me, it is more than that. For me it is the opportunity to demonstrate that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things. It is the opportunity to promote the incredible work of Bully Zero Australia and Tour de Cure Australia so we may one day live in a world free of bullying and world where kindess wins over cruelty and so one day we an know an existence where cancer doesn’t steal the lives of those we know and love. Regardless of the outcome, I will never walk away from World Universal. I will however take away an incredible sense of pride that I have remained true to myself throughout this entire experience and incredibly grateful for the amazing people I have met along the way that, without this journey, I would not have otherwise had the opportunity to meet. Whatever path my journey takes at International Finals, I will continue to promote and represent World Universal and encourage other women and young girls to embark on this life changing journey so they have the opportunity to recognise what wonderful people they are and that they are stronger than they give themselves credit for and that they are capable of more than they could ever know.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
I do a lot of community work and advocacy for anti-bullying and suicide prevention with Bully Zero, an Australian charity who’s goal is to create a bully free society. I will always work closely with Bully Zero, however, I also believe it is just as important to make a difference in the lives of people close to me and within my own community. I absolutely love the saying “Be the reason someone smiles today”. Nothing makes my day more than making someone else smile. I often do this by leaving a little note on the desk of my colleagues, or when I am getting a coffee, I will sometimes pay for the person’s coffee behind me in the line, whether I know them or not. They are not big gestures, but they are gestures that can sometimes be the difference between someone having a bad day or a good day… or the difference between having a good day and having a great day. I think it is important to lift people to remind people there is still good in a world and a society in which there is so much sadness and negativity. A little bit of kindness goes a long way and I think it is important for us to remember that.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
I mentioned in one of the earlier questions that the person you see on stage is the same as the person you see off stage. What you see is what you get! I live life treating people the way I would like to be treated. I live my life with integrity, purpose, passion, self respect and respect for others. I always strive to be the best version of myself and to be an example for my son. I am an ordinary person who is just as comfortable in my activewear sporting a makeup free face as I am in a ball gown with bright red lips and a little bit of sparkle, but I believe that is what makes me relatable and approachable. I believe by being myself and being true to my values and beliefs and not compromising the person I am to “fit in” or to be accepted is the best way to be a role model to anyone who is watching my journey and who may just see a little of me in themselves…
Leonie -MS. Australia Elite
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? The sisterhood and community platform it enables
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Other than winning the title of Ms Australia Elite, I think my greatest accomplishment this far was founding an award winning NFP Social Enterprise
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? Because I value our ability to make a difference in the lives of others and appreciate the value a sisterhood like World Universal provides.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
The friendships formed - the sisterhood is amazing as is the growth one feels within from going through the various steps associated with a pageant - you really look at who you are as a person, your core values and shine as result of being your best self authentic in all you do
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? By extending support free from judgement, by empowering people with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their own desires outcomes - by maintaining a positive out look on life. It's so important for people to feel valued, heard and supported. Life can be challenging so having that sense of belonging within ones community/life can have a huge positive impact on someone's life
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I do that now, I think it's about being respectful & accountable - I'm mindful that we have a responsibility to our titles, the sisterhood and our communities. It's a way of life for me
Jodie -Ms. Australia Global World
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? On been medically discharged from defence due to injury, I was looking for something that I could do that had the same type of values and community help and involvement as defence did, something with meaning and something I could do that would be helpful within my community and hopefully still be able to be a role model and help support and inspire others. I found this amazing platform and thought it would be perfect.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? I done many amazing things in the 13 years I was in defence; however now I would have to say it is my daughter. I was 13 weeks pregnant during the national Ms. Australia event last year when I won Global world and despite all the problems I had during pregnancy due to the injuries I sustained in defence, I gave birth to an amazing happy and healthy little girl.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I believe I am the right person to represent World universal because I feel with my background and everything I have adapted to and overcome it is a great way to show others that they can achieve anything they put their minds to and that no matter what your background may be or what you have been through everyone is beautiful in their own way.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? Friends and great memories. One of the main reasons I continue to compete is because everyone is so amazing and supportive of each other! the friendships that are made amongst everyone are truly amazing!
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? I feel everyone has down and up days and I find the best way to cheer someone up or to help them get back on the right track is to be able to talk about an experience you have had and to show that you got through it and so can they! showing someone that you have worked through a similar problem and explaining to them that it may be tough at the time but they can do it helps them to also see a light at the end of the tunnel and realise that they can do what they put their minds to and that they will be ok.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I believe if your values and beliefs are in the right mindset this will be shown through how you come across everyday to others! I feel that because everyday I'm striving to be better for not only myself but my daughter and trying to teach her how to love and respect herself and everyone around her this is also helping me to be both approachable and a role model for her and others in my community. A big smile can help also.
NAME -Ms. Eastern India
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? The bitter truth of life is – no one pays attention to what you are saying, even if they are wise advises until you have a stand in the society or you have achieved something. I have witnessed a lot of adversities in my life from being a Domestic Violence Victim, Mental
health issues, PTSD, Obesity, and dysfunctional family. I know I am not the only one in this struggle, there’s many other women like me, but they are either too traumatized to speak up or is just scared of what society will think of them. I want to be an inspiration to all these women and be the voice for them. Being associated with Ms World Universal, which is an esteemed and prestigious platform, I feel I will be more equipped to help them. They will listen to me and my story. I can be their strength.
They are just broken for the time being they are not damaged forever
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment so far is giving my life a 360 radical change. From being told that I was an ugly, over weight, mentally sick person ...to becoming a confident, happy, gorgeous- influencer, model and pageant queen. Who is now unstoppable- as I have many others to inspire and assist
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal?
Every crown comes with certain responsibilities and not everyone is prepared to take those responsibilities. Unfortunately, people still consider beauty pageant as just a mere show business to prove to people they are beautiful. I am entering this pageant with a purpose, a strong conviction that I have the potential to bring positive changes to people’s life, a vision and I already feel the responsibilities towards my tribe- I don’t see any reasons to not be the right candidate
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
“That behind every successful woman, there is a tribe of other empowered women who has her back even when she is not watching”- I will cherish the bond that we will create in the next few days and sisterhood.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
Just being my true self. Giving people unconditional love, respecting diversities and cultural differences, adapting the good and the new, avoiding negativity and toxicity. Having lots of laugh and most importantly praying to God to bless me with lots of positivity and strength so that I can fulfill the purpose of my existence
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
We women are wired to strike a balance between everything. Being a role model is to take accountability, being persistent, resilient and optimistic. As a role model we not only just inspire others or lead them but we must be open and give a patient hearing to people. I strongly believe that, when people feel heard they respect you. Making oneself approachable and accessible to people, that look up to you is a secret to success.
Being a role model is not just about being the winner of the crown, it is about influencing, creating awareness, enabling, empowering people or women to be more precise and creating a beautiful path for the next generation.
Reny -MS. India
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? The concept and vision behind World Universal is what inspired me to join the organisation. I admire the pageant system for accepting and empowering women for who they are and not their age, size, marital status or sexual orientation. The pageant celebrates and honours individuality and uniqueness over any beauty standards set by the society. It’s breaking the stereotypes of the industry by embracing body positivity, self love and self worth. This is exactly what I believe and follow in life. Hence I believe the World Universal Organisation will be a good platform to represent myself and my vision. Also the Organisation supports a cause ( through Tour de Cure: for Cancer Research) that is very close to my heart. Being a Registered Nurse by profession I highly understand the impact of this deadly disease on individuals and their loved ones and the importance of its research and the need to find a complete cure. The World Universal Organisation is headed by strong, independent and Powerful Women, there is nothing more inspiring than that. It gives us contestants the belief that nothing is unachievable in life if u really strive for it. I strongly believe World Universal Organisation will be a stepping stone for me to many many more great things coming up in life ahead where I will be able to inspire others and make a difference in someone’s life in any little way.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment is my family ( Husband and kids). I believe materialistic things come and go but the people in your life can never be replaced ever. Hence I feel having such a supportive and loving family is my biggest wealth. I came to this country 17 yrs ago, all alone. Without knowing anyone here just 25yrs old then. Over these years I have worked very hard to build a happy life and my family plays the most important part in it. I’m able to raise my children with the love, values and decipline that enables them to be tomorrows good citizens. That will be my biggest win / accomplishment in this lifetime. Monetary and Materialistic things are temporary. It’s the people in your life that will stay with you forever. Hence we should look after them and be thankful for them always.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? World Universal is about oneself and what we can do to represent the title and be an example and inspiration to others. I feel I am the right person to represent World Universal because I have a personality that strongly believes and reflects positivity, responsibility, ownership, commitment, self love, compassion, honesty, humbleness and staying grounded. I am a strong advocate for body positivity and acceptance. I believe everyone is beautiful in their own way and no one should be treated inferior because of their size, colour, race or culture. I believe you rise by lifting up others and helping others in any way possible. Growth for me is when I’m able to inspire anyone else around me to go and follow their dreams, make a difference in the society or stand up for themselves. In my day to day life I’m doing my little bit for the community by being actively involved in many upcoming projects for women and the less fortunate. Also my profession of being a Registered Nurse gives me the skills to deal with all kinds of people on a day to day basis. I am a people”s advocate through my profession and I deal with their issues and problems from physical to emotional with utmost skill and professionalism. Hence I believe that being a peoples person will help me a lot to reach to others in the community and across the Globe to start believing in themselves and to come out of their shells and make a difference in their own ways in this world. I believe in leading from the front as well as at the same time taking others along to make a collective effort to make this World a better place to live in.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? My policy in life is, Never let success get to your head and Failures get to your heart. Because they are both temporary. You should be thankful for your wins and it’s ok to feel upset if things don’t go as planned. But failures never defines you or your worth. It’s just that someone else was better than you on that particular day. Hence regardless of the outcome, I will walk away with gratitude in my heart for the opportunity given to me to represent my country on an international platform. As well as learn something new from my other fellow contestants. I will take this pageant as a learning experience for my personal growth which will help me strive and achieve much more greater things in life ahead.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? I’m a very positive and happy person. I try to spread happiness and positivity amongst others in my life by being a listener and being there for them whenever they need someone to talk to. I’m non judgemental and respect other peoples opinions and choices. Through my profession I help my patients overcome their physical / emotional pains and challenges by giving them utmost care and compassion. Im an advocate for Domestic violence, Cancer awareness, Mental health and Body positivity. I am the brand ambassador for GEM models, an organisation supporting and empowering plus size curvy women by giving them opportunities to come out and proudly present themselves in the fashion Industry. In the community I support a lot of charitable organisations by volunteering to raise funds for different causes/ projects since 2018. Some of the organisations I support and volunteer for includes The Lions club, Salvation Army, Make a wish foundation, Australian domestic, family and sexual Recovery Alliance and Cancer Council Australia. Currently I”m a member of Road2Bollywood Arts & Culture Charitable organisation. Through the organisation we do lots of events / wellness programmes to support others especially focusing on domestic violence.
It is very important to do these things as what makes our lives worthwhile is what we can give back to the society and what we can do for others. The satisfaction you get when u make someone else happy is unmatched. What truly defines you is how much you can give to others without expecting anything in return. Being selfless is the beauty of life. Your work should speak for yourself. We should be remembered for our deeds rather than our trophies.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? Being a title holder gives a lot of responsibility on ones shoulders. It is something to be proud of and has to be carried forward with a lot of grace and dignity. We have to be a role model by representing ourselves in the best possible way to empower and inspire others. At the same time we shouldn’t be arrogant or full of attitude just because we are a pageant winner. Humility and humbleness is what will take you forward in life. People should remember you for how you treated them and made them feel. I believe our personality is what defines us more than the title. Hence my approach as a Title holder will be empowering and inspiring by demonstrating values of self worth, confidence, responsibility, commitment and compassion, at the same time staying very humble, approachable and grounded.
Liz -Ms. Indigenous Australia
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? The way the organisation has been built, it is new & original. We have women from all different age groups and countries who come together at Internationals and nationals but also we can still communicate & keep in touch all year round. We can actually learn a lot from each other especially in countries that none of us know about & this provides understanding of each other, as they have provided an excellent platform, this only leads to positivity, developing and maturity.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Having the strength to leave an abusive relationship 20 years ago & move to another state with my 2 small children at the time, for us to live a happy, decent, healthy lifestyle for me to be able to raise my 2 beautiful children as a single mother, and have them in a loving caring environment since they were little. It was hard mentally & emotionally at first but with a little family support I achieved this & everything that I aimed for back then, we are living that life now, Happy & Free.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I feel this is about having a good attitude in life & towards others regardless of their age or background, to listen, care and understand people goes a long way in life. I have a good attitude in life as I am happy on the inside, my heart & soul is content, at ease and I am a very honest person who is their for others. I was taught this since a child and I have always carried this with me. I am also an actress of 11 years who has travelled to Hollywood, Los Angeles & Miami, USA for acting since 2011. I immediately was able to communicate with others on a respectful level, so much so that at some acting workshops some people thought I was American until I spoke & my accent gave it away, as I just blended in with everyone, this is how I am wherever I go in life, as I love communicating and learning from others. I always give respect to any country I visit, as I have visited NZ also in 2010. I feel I have been exposed to things outside of my own country which has helped me develop personally. I am a very respectful woman who believes as human beings we all need to look after each other and drive out hate. I have high morals & values and I would display this through communication & understanding whilst representing World Universal.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? I would walk away with learnt lessons, new friendships, more knowledge about other countries and the people. I would also have respect to both Directors as not everyone has this huge & amazing opportunity to be on such a platform and I am very grateful for this.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? Listening, some people just need & want to be heard especially if they are down. I listen, then try to understand and assist with options if they need, but most of all listening as this helps others and I have had many experienced where all I did was listen and the other person/s walked away a lot better & happier as they were able to get things off their chest.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I would always approach this in a professional caring manner. I work well under pressure and can live life under pressure and come out with calm solutions, I have years of experience with this. I feel this is all about being patient with myself and others.

What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization?
I feel that it is time for me to do something that I have always wanted to do but was to shy and embarrassed about myself. I have always supported my children in their ventures. I have been following the World Universal Productions journey and have been mesmerize the passion of the team and success. So I thought, "why not" !

To see my grandchildren is the greatest gift. I see attributes of myself and my children in them. This is just amazing how life is.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal?
I would give the MS World Universal title by the best that I can do by promoting and role modelling the best that I can be, for community members to look up to and say wow look at what she has done. Also, by showing that age and dress size and where you come from doesn't matter, that you can do anything you put your mind to. To be mindful that having a dream can come true if you believe in yourself, anything I'd possible.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
I am hoping to take away experience such as public appearances and organisations skills that I can foster and share with in my community and surroundings.
Also gaining ways of how to improve self esteem with the community. By making new friends that I can grow and learn from and be apart of a family that cares and make a difference weather small or big.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?

I hope to encourage the Aboriginal and Torres strait youth and elders, wider community to have a positive impact on themselves and community. My motto is " where there a will, there is a way."
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
I would give my best by balancing my title and work commitments as well as being a mum .I like to time manage so that I can get the most out of everyday. Kaori -MS. Japan
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? I want to convey to people that if they believe in themselves and continue to act, they will become stronger even when they fall into difficult situations, and to give them courage.
I also want people to know that even people with these problems can always find a place that suits them, just as I was able to find my career as a model.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? It is that I never once lost the importance of family.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? Because I was able to face myself and live positively, I was able to find a job as a "model" with the theme of "pursuing Japanese beauty," which is where I belong, and I am now more confident in myself. Ms. World Universal, which I was able to encounter by being able to make these changes in the midst of my own mental problems. I think I deserve to be a representative because I have the confidence to challenge this competition with the most important thoughts and respect than anyone else in the competition.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? Regardless of the outcome of this competition, I will return triumphant, proud that I have grown one step further as a person with a global perspective.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? This is a unique and precious opportunity, and it is worth the challenge, because it is through this experience that you will evolve and step up as a person in your own life.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? Through my work as a model, which can be spread to many people through various media, I will continue my activities as a titleholder without forgetting my dignity and without being conceited, and I will approach this convention through myself, appealing that I am not a distant presence by interacting with many people through volunteer activities and social contribution activities such as animal welfare that I have continued up to now.
Mika -Ms. Japan Ambassador
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? I felt Ms. World Universal could help me on my path to become a better person inside and out. It will help me to become a world-class woman like the other participants and the organizational staff are. I wanted to meet and grow with other inspiring women that help others to better themselves. I would like to be an example of respect for diversity. I like to challenge myself in different ways and this is an opportunity I’ve never had before. The experience I know I’ll gain being a part of this contest will help me to be a better woman, a better mother, and a better leader in my community in Japan. With this once In a lifetime experience, I'd love to widen my area of activities internationally in the future.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment has been the time I have spent mentoring over 5,000 youth and adults as they pursue their passions in singing. I helped them develop singing skills and learn the English language and learn about other cultures and histories throughout the characteristics of music and lyrics. By doing so, I helped them broaden their international horizons which I believe is very important worldwide and especially in Japanese society now because some people are still bound by old customs, and there are many scenes where it is difficult to confidently express one's own opinions. By showing them repeatedly that it is ok to say what you think, even if it's different from everybody else, my students have also became more confident with other forms of creative self expression. I’ve had many personal accomplishments that I am proud of but the time I feel I have spent the best has been inspiring and helping others.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? There are definitely many excellent candidates to win this contest. I have many experiences that make me a great choice. I’ve had the privilege of living all over the globe. I’ve been fortunate to grow up in the beautiful Japanese culture. At age 10 I have realize that if I speak English I could communicate with people from all over the world. Then I decided to study English in America at age 15. I’ve spend many years in a very diverse area of Southern California. After that I attended Berklee College of music in New England. This school started my career as a vocalist but it is internationally known with students from all around the world. There I met people from all over the world and learned many different cultures as well as learning music. There, I have experienced the importance of accepting diversities. I also have been actively participating in volunteer works from small to big ever since I was a child. I feel that the importance of volunteer works is the continuation of works and that there should be no boundaries of being a volunteer or a recipient of volunteers. I feel that all my experience goes directly to making me an excellent choice for Ms. World Universal.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? Courage to challenge and shine. I am all in on this contest and working hard to win it. I feel that I have what it takes and if I win I would represent this organization well. However, regardless of getting a title or not, I still take it as an amazing opportunity. I would value my time spent and be happy for the winners. We should all learn to win well and lose well. So whatever the outcome I will take these experiences back to Japan with me and something to be proud of for the rest of my life. I will encourage everyone to not be afraid to put themselves out there. I will inspire other women to be courageous, keep accepting challenges, yet embrace our own vulnerabilities to make ourselves stronger for the better society.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? I have donated my time and talents to several organizations that uplift people in my community for the past twenty years. Aside from my career as a singer, from 1990 to present, I have organized a group, where I taught singing in English to people in all ages and careers in Japan. There I am a teacher, but I learn more from my students every day. In those communities, people became happier, heathier, and are able to build true friendship throughout singing together. The bond created by singing together is something genuine and irreplaceable. Also, It has been such beautiful experiences to see children and adults to age in their 70s, 80s singing together and becoming great friends. They learn each other’s differences and accept each others. Another case is, there is a group of people leaving dangerous situations that I meet with. They were living in prison like conditions for many years while awaiting official refugee status. There is often a language barrier with this group of people from different countries. I try to listen to them and communicate as best I can. I use exercise and music therapy to uplift them physically and mentally. I have also entertained and helped people affected by the earthquake that destroyed the Fukushima nuclear reactor. I sang to give entertainment to people rebuilding their community, gave them singing workshops twice a month for six months in 2012.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I believe staying humble yet active, open minded, flexible, grateful, full of wit and spread whatever the messages with love would be very important to the winner of this pageant. A role model who is approachable will be able to have more positive influence on those around her. I have had so many great experiences interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds and this has given me great people skills. I will use these to listen to others first before what I need to say. That will keep me approachable, because when people feel heard they feel comfortable. This would let me stay approachable and be a good example as a role model. To balance being a role model while staying approachable I will keep this in mind: People may not always remember what was said to them but they will never forget how you made them feel.
Michiyo -MS. Japan Elite
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? I am a Life Purpose Coach. I was trained by Marni Dugan, the founder of Life Purpose Astrology, who lived in Tasmania, Australia. Last year, she passed away from cancer, but her teaching still lives in her students' hearts. She taught us that when we are born, we choose our own life purpose. And each of our choices is unique and different. I strongly believe that when these differences come together, we can create a dynamic synergy, energy, power, and new possibilities that have never existed before. We can accomplish more together than we can alone. This is true diversity, and when I learned that WUO embraces true diversity, I resonated with its philosophy and strongly wanted to be a part of your organization.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? My greatest achievement is that as a Life Purpose Coach, I have helped over a few hundred people uncover their life purpose, and I continue to do so as my life mission. And this choice stems from a totally unexpected person. When I was a college student, I had the opportunity to facilitate an event. The main guest at that event was Mikhail Gorbachev, former General Secretary of the Soviet Union. He said, “each of us has unique talents. To create an ideal world, we must bring those talents together. What is your talent? How will you use it?”. These words remained strong in my heart, and led me to pursue my career as a Life Purpose Coach. And I have been helping people realize their strengths, their talents, and their life purpose so that this world can be filled with positive energy. And I intend to continue to do so. I believe this is my greatest achievement.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? Because I can be a voice for those who are experiencing extreme situations in life, who are misfit, who feel rejected, unseen, and unheard.
I personally experienced extreme high and extreme low in my life.
I went through 5 consecutive years of fertility treatments. But at the age of 42, I lost hope, and made a difficult choice to stop the treatment. It was devastating for me to choose NOT to become a mother. However, one day, my husband and I were scuba diving, and accidentally caught right in the middle of thousands of fish forming a tornado. It was as if all the fish in the ocean came to celebrate. One month later, I found out that I was pregnant. That was truly magical. I thought my decision to not become a mother was a final life decision, but after I received this gift of life in the ocean, I made a 180 degree paradigm shift and made a decision to become a mother. It was as if I reclaimed my life purpose.
From my personal experience, I can be a voice for those who are going through tough situations. That's why I believe I would be the right person to represent WUO.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? My core belief as a Life Purpose Coach is that shared experience gives us powerful energy and synergy. It could be any experience that causes individuals to identify with each other. It becomes the basis for the formation of bonding.
Our experience at WUO has unique meaning to each one of us, and when we share this unique personal experiences together, we can create something big. We can activate each of our life purpose and create opportunities in the society. That's the true value I will take home with me.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? I lift up others with unconditional love.
We all face differences in life. It's your choice to push back such differences, or embrace them with unconditional love.
Unconditional love doesn't mean that you need to accept all the actions you can't agree with.
What unconditional love DOES mean is to embrace their being, no matter what the difference is.
"I'm grateful you were born. I'm happy you are here. I love the way you are. Your being is a true joy for me. I love you with all my heart. "
When each of us chooses to provide unconditional love, together, we can create a world filled with love. And I strongly believe it starts with oneself.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I am a person of many opposites and have balanced them throughout my life. I grew up in western Japan and worked in eastern Japan.
I am a daughter and a mother. I am a housekeeper and an entrepreneur. I am a copywriter who proposes messages to manufacturers, and I am also the maker of “Gui Pan,” Japanese Tenugui Pants. I am a yogi and a drummer. Scuba diver and amusement park tourist.
I was a MENSA member with an IQ in the top 2%, yet I was at the bottom of my academic class. ......!
Being both a role model and approachable is an extension of my being.
Megan -MS. Mauritius
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? After researching the many pageant systems available, I feel Ms World Universal is best suited to help me attain my goals. Many previous Ms World Universal title holders have achieved so much for their platforms and I would love that chance to do the same.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment so far is not just becoming a mother to my four children, but being their Mum. Raising four kids under the age of 10 has definitely been challenging but also so rewarding. Knowing that I'm shaping their minds, with great morals and skills, while allowing them to develop into their own people. I hope that I can teach and inspire them to be kind, loving, adventurous, passionate & brave, ingredients I think we all need. I truly believe that being their mother is the greatest gift life has given me.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I feel that I would be a wonderful representative for Ms World Universal because I am passionate about uplifting women. Body positivity is a big passion of mine and as a curvy woman myself, I believe that makes me a great candidate to inspire other women, mothers and young girls who do not value themselves. Society puts so much pressure on women to look a certain way through all forms of media and it is destroying the mental health of so many females around the world. I used to feel this way and its simply not a healthy way to live. It needs to stop. As a representative of Ms World Universal, I hope to inspire other women and young girls to see themselves as beautiful and unique, just the way they are. Just as I do. I am proud of my body and I am working towards building a platform, to support other woman to do the same.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? I love being surrounded by like-minded individuals and entering into environments that are designed for women to lift one another up and not tear each other down. Too often in life we see people consumed by their competitiveness and miss the real point, the journey.
In my nearly 4 years of pageantry, I have found this community to be one that lifts me up and allows me to see my full potential; it is that support that has led me to Ms World Universal today. I want to immerse myself in experiences where I can meet many incredible people, from all walks of life and maybe inspire others along the way.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? In 2019, I came across a pageant community in Queensland and was completely blown away with the amazing support from everyone I met. My children at the time were participating and watching their confidence grow and flourish has been great. They challenged me to give it a try one day and I thought to myself, I wouldn't be a great role model if I told them no, that I didn't have the courage. So I did it.
I stepped onto a stage and in doing so, I not only inspired my children but I inspired other mothers and women around me to step out of their comfort zones and give it a try. I feel so proud to see them flourish and begin to love themselves. To celebrate their amazing bodies after childbirth because that itself is something to celebrate.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I believe I have always been an approachable person in my everyday life and love being surrounded by people. I pride myself on being that listening ear without judgement, that shoulder to cry on or there to give some words of encouragement. It's always been an intrinsic value of mine, to help others so would be a natural balance for me – I am already a role model for my children, especially my young daughter who watches everything I do. I have a friendly personality and I take pride in how I represent myself. I am just a regular mum, who has a dream to inspire others & show them that anything is possible.
Diana -MS. New Zealand
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? I have often been treated as an outsider - the odd-one-out - and been subjected to treacherous bullying, discrimination and exclusion both socially and professionally. The mental torment and daily struggle of trying to keep hope alive is something I have to navigate constantly. “We don’t want her to think she’s different, that she isn’t beautiful”
I will never be able to - nor would I want to - change what's on the outside. So, I joined the Ms World Universal - a pageant that values inclusion - to have the opportunity to share my experiences and as an expression of why we all matter. I aspire to be an ally and advocate for inclusion and equality. and to be remembered as a selfless person, fearless in pursuit of her dreams, a great friend and someone that used her voice to influence positive change.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? After years of enduring professional bullying and discrimination, I was finally able to raise my voice this year to speak up, call-out and challenge status quo. I was subsequently appointed to the advisory board to help drive changes in the corporate Diversity & Inclusion program. My goal is to use this position to strengthen the experiences of Women in the Workplace.
I have also been extremely humbled to receive recognition for my active advocacy in the community including:-
● Volunteer of the Year, Wellington, New Zealand - recognised by the WLG Connect Award for my work within the community and my role in spearheading and successfully executing the refugee pack program with the NZ Red Cross.
● Team4Tech Ambassador & Fellow - for my work with the Silicon-Valley NGO in designing and delivering a home-learning solution for schools in Tanzania impacted by COVID-19. I also designed and architected a technical blueprint & worked with a global foundations to fund a fully functioning Technology Lab in Uganda.
● Role Model Of the Year - Ms AU|NZ|Oceania World Universal - AGSA Awards, 2020
● Global Advisory Board | Social Impact Lead, ANZ - for my role as a changemaker championing for a culture of inclusivity and fairness for teams globally. I also facilitate corporate foundation sponsorship by advocating for charity organizations across ANZ
● Mentor & Speaker at STEM focused Initiatives Globally - sought after for my commitment to supporting Women in Technology and working with STEM partners to provide a strength-based mentoring to schools, colleges, universities and professional organizations
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? All the ladies vying for the title are beautiful and deserving and it would be an absolute honour and privilege to be the one chosen to represent Ms. World Universal as a titleholder. What really sets me apart from others is that I am a very good communicator and it's easy for me to relate to other people. I embody the core principles of leadership and consciously conduct myself with integrity and humility. I recognize that holding a title would require me to take on the responsibilities of a good spokesmodel and my strengths and experiences so far have propelled me to be just that.
Over the last few years, I have been in positions that have allowed me to apply my strengths in various capacities. I have had opportunities to interview notable global personas and trail blazers including a former First Lady and a former Ms USA, I have also successfully led and promoted worthy causes and facilitated workshops and conversations on social impact, mental wellbeing and achieving success in adversity.
I always bring passion, authenticity, and a good work ethic to every role I hold. I plan to leverage my public social media profile, global professional and personal network to continue to support Ms World Universal’s mission, vision and the pageant’s plans for the year in reign and beyond.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
When I entered the pageant, I was seeking to be part of a community of like minded women, learn from them and grow my philanthropic goals.. After winning the Ms. NZ World Universal Title, I realized that I now have a platform that I can use to amplify the influence on positive change.
“When one of your dreams comes true, you begin to dream bigger”.
While the Ms. New Zealand World Universal title has afforded me a lot of opportunities, the pageant experience has forced me to consciously think about what I want, not just from the platform but also from other aspects of my life. It is important for me to be intentional and have clarity about the future me that I wanted to grow into and how I would want to represent myself and others throughout this journey. One such growth is having the confidence to speak out more.
I never saw pageantry as a competition, I always looked at it as a learning experience and so I am embracing the fun and friendships and am excited to stand alongside other amazing women & men that I have met and to continue to promote Beauty with a Purpose.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? I intentionally carve out time to find opportunities to give back whether it’s through volunteering, mentoring or even just being a supportive friend because I strongly believe that whatever one person can do to make another’s life or day a little brighter is worth doing.
I lead with empathy when interacting with others, focussing on making them feel heard, valued and appreciated. By allowing others to be vulnerable, and leading by example, I find that it allows for learning and growth and creates a space where people start to be comfortable with who they are. Knowledge sharing is a big part of me so I serve as a mentor offering career advice to aspiring software engineers and an avid cheerleader for their successes and triumphs.
“We can all all strive to build and promote healthy, authentic, socially conscious, body
positive, inclusive, compassionate communities”
Because Charity Begins at Home, It’s very important to integrate with and contribute to supporting local communities and grassroot efforts. Building strong communities is critical because they are often an important source of social connection and a sense of belonging.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? I have a naturally outgoing personality and it’s often effortless for me to initiate conversations with others. I also enjoy travel and this has allowed me to meet people from all walks of life and build my curiosity around different cultures. I can relate to a lot of people and this allows others to be comfortable around me. Whatever I do in life, I always surround myself with people that stimulate, inspire & uplift me and I choose to pay that forward to others and to give positive energy.
"You define the crown, the crown does not define you."
Outside of interpersonal connections, I am planning to reach more people by continuing to seek out more speaking engagements and exploring other social media options including short videos, where I can share experiences, insights into my life, promote Ms World Universal platform and be accessible to those I may never get to meet in person.
Sandy -MS. New Zealand Elite
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? The inspiration is the fact that this organisation has no boundaries for beauties wanting to showcase themselves while promoting their charity.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Being Honoured as Title Holder Ms New Zealand Elite 2021 at the age of 46! I made my children, my mum, my family, friends and community proud.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I value the input of women in not just the every day life in families but the betterment of the economy and communities. I broke the common barriers by listening to my own purpose. The purpose of educating women and young ones to value freedom, confidential and following ethical growth.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? This sisterhood has already given me enormous support. Without the inspiration I would probably have had lost the cause of my own life at one point. I value the friendship and the confidence that has now helped me reclaim my radiance.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? Empathetic mindset. I listen to people and give valuable input. I believe it’s important as everyone has their own battles. If I can personally make one persons life a happy one, that is an honour for me. It gives my heart satisfaction. People in my community reach out to me often and I value them just thinking of me.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected? It would be an honour to be representing World Universal Title. The role speaks for itself! I believe to be chosen for the title is not an easy task. Bringing in ways of reaching out to people and being proactive. Why should leave the chance of being approached if we can keep the doors open for communication proactively.
Michyla-MS. New Zealand Global World
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? I applied to be Ms World Universal New Zealand, for sense of achievement and fulfilment. Likewise, the excitement of the experience and memories I will make here will help to further broaden my social horizon and understanding of other people. My primary reason for entering this pageant was to continue to develop my self-esteem. It is a great privilege and honor to be a candidate for the Ms World Universal International title, and I look forward to helping the charities and assisting in promoting the organizations various programs and activities.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Accomplishments are described as, something that has been achieved successfully, and I have been blessed to have achieved many milestones in my life so far. I’ve managed to reach 10 years (and counting) of marriage, birthed 4 amazing unique children into this world, earnt countless awards for my volunteering community work, and of course most recently, being able to confidently make it to the international stage for the Ms World Universal international title. But the greatest ones to me, are much more personal, they are the growth hand perseverance I managed to sustain, while I fought though the grief I experienced when our youngest child died. The dignity in which I managed to maintain while I dealt with the legal and court system for the Domestic and Sexual abuse attacks I received. And lastly the courage I found, deep down last year when I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, the resilience to keep putting one foot in front of the other, while keeping a positive outlook on life. To me, the attainment of greater personal strength is far more rewarding than any other reward I could receive.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I believe I represent all of what my beautiful country means worldwide. As a woman that takes pride in her love for keeping our environment in great condition, as well as fostering love and support for those who need extra assistance (both human and animals alike). I also love working alongside many other organizations and getting others involved in them too. I work alongside my mother in law to help cook meals for some of our most needy children and help teach my own children (and others) about the joy of helping others, via way of Kai donations, and winter needs to our most vulnerable, our elderly. I already do this, and so much more without the need for “pats on the back”, but because I wholeheartedly believe that in a world where we can literally be anything we can dream of, first, we should always be KIND.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? Perfectionism, is a big thing in beauty pageants, and it’s hard not to compare yourself to all the other amazing contestants. But I have faced my own anxiety and I have the confidence in myself, to go up there and KNOW that I do not need to change myself to feel beautiful in every way possible. Pageants, to me, are ultimately so empowering, because of the interview, the social impact and initiative portions of the contests have helped me realize that my own self-worth is so much more than what I physically loo like. So, I expect to gain an opportunity to rediscover my strengths and help hone and perfect them. Realize some of my possible weaknesses and transform them into strengths, and hopefully take home the crown while I’m at it. But at the end of the night, even if I don’t, I expect to make new friends, and have amazing warm memories to look back on.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
Actions speak louder than words. I personally act to uplift the thoughts and sentiments of society and the change that follows automatically on a daily basis. Whether its in the small way that I leave a positive note to one my children about how much I love one of their characteristics or attitude, through to donating time and resources to those in need around me. I strongly believe in fostering a love or helping in our youth, as that will continue to grow as they age, through book and clothing drives, baking and gifting kai (food) for those that would otherwise be hungry, or even just as simple as your time and support towards those that need some more love and encouragement at different stages in their lives. The internal self love that one can discover from selflessly giving glows brighter than any star in the night sky.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
I am currently a work from home mother of 4 beautiful young children, I run a successful graphic design business, that I use as a platform to help bring awareness and support (funds) to many communities at are near and dear to myself, and many others. My main 4 being Deaf Aotearoa, Mental Health NZ, Children’s Variety/Ronald McDonald House, and Kids in Need Waikato. Which allows me the opportunity to interact with a vast range of people, with a range of backgrounds and journeys so far in life.
I’m also most of the way though my Bachelor in Applied Science (Psychology and Communications), which has taught me a great deal of strategies to approach and converse with others, to be able to empathize with people in situations that are both similar and different from my own, but most of all it's taught me ways to be more respectful towards varying differences of opinions and/or belief systems from those I have, or understand.
My dream one day would be, to be remembered as a woman that stood or the silent. As a victim of bullying and abuse, as a woman that suffers from mental health issues, I don’t want to stay silent for others who are now in my place. I want to be remembered as the woman that united people together, to show them the consequences of bullying, and the long-term effects this has on people. I want to be known as a woman who helped put an end to bullying and suicide.
-MS. Northern India
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization?
I have achieved so much in my life as a girl from small town in India with financial difficulties. For example in my career, personal development, uplifted my family financial situation but still, I find it so hard to believe in myself, have so many doubts on my decisions, lack self-confidence. Even after my achievements, when I came across bullies, negative people, they took this positive energy out of me, controlled me using my own self- doubts. Being bullied for 2 long years at my work place made me realize that I need to believe in myself, my accomplishments to gain confidence. I need to stop questioning my abilities, I am here to gain this self -confidence and show myself that yes, I can achieve anything I put my mind into. Doing modelling, meeting people with same goals was my childhood dream and this is my first step towards this dream.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
I was unlucky to caught up in a toxic work environment in my recent past. I was the only Indian in my company, there was lack in confidence, language and cultural barrier. I was putting double the efforts to prove my worth. I got recognized by the company for the same. Despite that I became a victim of racism, discrimination and bullying. My first instinct was leaving that work place which would have meant not going forward with the plan of building my house. I learned someone before me left the same job because of bullying from the same person. I decided to find my voice, put up a fight against It which was not an easy thing to do for me especially at the time of covid when I was forced to stay on my own away from my family. To deal with the issue I went to management when that didn't work took external help with Union and Fair work commission. I said what I needed to say and left the company to preserve my own self worth. Because I knew I deserved better than this. I wasn't going to let bullies control my thought, my life and my career. I have another job with better pay and conditions now and living happily living in my house.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal?
I feel I am a right candidate because I can represent the northern Indian girls, our traditions, culture, how we are diverse but still united. I understand their struggles and what it takes for a girl to get opportunities and establish themselves in their life.
Life is so precious, I wish to maximize it, this is a big platform to do the same. I will get to meet and greet likeminded people and get to know about their journey, struggles and achievements. We all be treated same doesn’t matter what country and color we belong to.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
From Ms World Universal platform I will take away this unique experience of participating, meeting people, walking on the ramp, building confidence, opening new opportunities for myself, networking. I will share this experience with my friends, community and encourage them to take steps towards their vision and dreams doesn’t matter how late it feels.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
As I finished my Master’s degree from University of Tasmania often students from India asks me how to be successful in the same field. I advise truthfully, be empathetic, maintain a positive outlook and encourage them. I put extra efforts especially if there are women trying to build a career in a different country with different language like myself. I provide encouragement and support as If I can do it anyone can do it. For example, a girl who shifted from India and was working in age care thinking she wont be able to secure white collar job because she didn't studied in Australia. Being from same field I guided and inspired her to get her dream job. Similarly, when someone called me from India as scared and confused about taking this step to study higher in a different country I encouraged her to chase her dream which she succeeded at. Meeting her later in a gathering gave me immense happiness that I could help her the way I could. In my recent visit to India many girls from village did reach out to me for guidance to study higher and have a career. Being a world universal will help me to encourage and guide more and more girls to go in STEM studies and establish themselves.
Likewise, If someone ask advice from work related issues, I try to be truthful of all the struggle’s I had and how hard it gets to prove yourself being a women and of different color. I do motivate and help others to choose what’s best for them as per my knowledge and experience. I believe if you put good out in the world it comes back to you.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
We are born of love, love is our mother
I am born and raised in a culture where caring for others and loving all living beings is essence of life. I live my everyday life being approachable and providing encouragement. I will continue to do same.
Tulip-MS. Oceania Elite
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? World Universal Organization is a community full of like minded, strong hearted and passionate women. I became a part of this movement because I believe in myself and the power we have as women to lead the world into a brighter tomorrow.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Being a solo mother to my four beautiful children while still working towards my goals and working hard on my mental and physical health. Life is a roller-coaster but I'm proud of the woman I've become and how well I've held everything together.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal? I am full of courage and understanding. I am not afraid to dive in and try something new. I've been around the world and have met many people from different walks of life. I am a proud woman of Oceania and it has been instilled in me since young that it takes a village to raise a child and I believe I can lead this village in raising the future children of this world.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
Title or not, there will always be a part to play in progressing our world in the right direction. I know I belong at the front line of the battle to a good future but behind the scenes is just as important. With this experience alone I know the lessons and thoughts shared amongst this community will be held high and carried on for future endeavours.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
I lift up others in my life by giving them the space and time to develop into their own being and support them in making their mark in this world by just being who they genuinely are. It is important to do this because everyone needs to know there is enough space for all to learn and grow, so there is no need to try and come between someone and their destined journey. We all live and learn.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
Being approachable means to have the courage to share in someone's experiences without judgement and being a role model means to be confident enough to believe so much in yourself that those who don't already, will believe in themselves too.
Kristina-MS. Sweden
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization? To inspire women at any age to be proud of who they are and there story. No matter what we all have a story and we all started somewhere
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Being a mum at a quite late age, survive and live with a heart condition, survive a very dramatic birth of my daughter, go from a scared and unsecured young adult with no self worth and with an eating disorder and huge anxiety to a confident "older" woman with a huge passion for people, animals and to appreciate life as it comes and deal with it.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal?
I am a humble person and I love to bring the best out of people. Saying that my story will have women (and men) moments they can relate to themselves. Been there done that gives me a good base to stand on representing World Universal. I like young women to love themselves now and don't wait until you are close to 60, like me. I also Iike women at my age to "just go for it", age is just a number.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with? Being proud of myself that I did this! Remember all the great people I met during the days and just the experience of feeling good and special. I also hope that I might have been a helping hand or maybe even inspiration to someone around and in the pageant, because I will definitely meet people that will be that to me.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so? Communication and connecting with others is the key. Choose your words as words can lift you up or "kill you". It is so easy to give people a positive comment or gesture. I live with what I teach my kids "it's so much easier to be nice than nasty ".
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
Amanda-MS. USA
What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization?
I admire that the World Universal Organization highlights a women's character,
resilience, and accomplishments. It goes beyond a title and shines light on inclusion, self-worth, ambassadorship for other women, and the uniqueness and change we bring to
other people's lives. I grew up living in poverty and having a child in my teens; my life has been anything short of overcoming setbacks. This organization celebrates women who have faced adversity of all types and have risen above to vocalize and uplift others.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
Career: I make up 1 of the 45 women who serve as Warrant Officers in the Pennsylvania
Army National Guard. I am the only female Supervisor working in a Maintenance Facility
for PA. Recently I have accepted a position that is with the STEM community and I love that I can bring that to young girls to encourage them in science, technology, engineering, and math academics.
Scholastically: First generation college graduate; earning Associates, Bachelors, and Masters.
Civically: Ambassador for the Salvation Army's Pathway of Hope program, Northeast
Service Pin. Because of my community service, I have been awarded the Community Service award in the Army. Board Member and Event Founder & Coordinator of Benefit Ball for a Cause.
Personally: Blogger, Her Story - Community Empowerment Project; Recent Warrior against Breast Implant Illness (BII) and Autoimmune disease; & a bikini Body Building Competitor.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal?
I am proof that, no matter the circumstances, dreams and goals can be achieved. Suffering from Breast Implant Illness I am sharing my story to protect and educate other women about the harmful affects of breast implants and their overall health. I want to continue that message as well as to challenge and encourage women and girls, on an international level - "each day is a new day to act, grow, accomplish, and surpass all expectations."
Having the platform of Ms. World Universal would elevate my work to end poverty, champion inclusion, and focus on women's physical and mental health. I can be a visible example, drawing from my service in the military and my socioeconomic background; that inclusivity makes us stronger.
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
I will continue each day advocating and working as though I am Ms. World Universal. The extraordinary women I've had the pleasure of meeting through
this system still inspire and encourage me to keep sharing my story and theirs all the while I continue my advocacy and fundraising work. By surrounding myself with such positive world-changers, it challenges and inspires me to push further into my own potential.
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
Recently suffering from BII; I have been sharing my before and after journey through my blog, Her Story. I have always been a champion and advocate to end poverty, as it is all I knew from the age of 8. I have initiated and planned 2 benefit balls for Haven House. As an ambassador of the Pathway of Hope program; I attend events at Salvation Armies serving meals, bringing awareness, and encouraging others to get involved. Capturing hardships many women face, I started a blog, Her Story; a Community Empowerment Project, which empowers any reader that goals and ambitions are possible. As a Warrant Officer I lead and champion women’s equality. I am prepared to become Ms. World Universal and be the spokesperson for the World Universal Organization; an advocate for women's health; eliminating poverty; and a champion for women's empowerment and possibility.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
Life is all about balance; I find a positive and candid attitude, along with a passion to help others, one can do many different things with ease. As a military officer and mom I find solace in taking care of my mental and physical health; I am a firm believer this balance and self care gives me all of the strength to continue to be a superior Ms. USA, Military Officer, Mom, working fulltime in the STEM community, volunteer, and friend to those that reach out. Being passionate about my role in the Ms. World Universal Production sisterhood is not a job, it's a way of life because I love what we do together. Building each other up - continuing that for others is easy. A planner helps too; it's one of my must haves and is always with me in my purse.

What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization?
Two things inspired me to be part of this system. First, my platform is Volunteerism and I truly believe that NOW is the time for people to join in and volunteer to help our world heal from the pandemic and feel the love for each other again while healing their own hearts too. I have survived 8 long years of domestic violence and 20 surgeries later, I am alive and I help other women get out now too. Second, from the abuse I endured I ended up with an ileostomy for life, which other pageants I have competed in held against me as a negative and this pageant clearly states that they celebrate women even with physical differences and I want to be a part of that! I am ready to show how strong I am despite the ileostomy.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment in life is being a multi-tasking mother of two beautiful daughters that were born out of such a traumatic and abusive relationship. I have raised Taylar 20, and Kalei 19, through everything in life and through the beginning of adulthood thus far. I manage to balance work and home life well coupled with our volunteering schedule, which we often do as a family. My favorite part is dinner time when we all sit down to discuss our day together. Keeping our family together as a unit communicating to me is one of my greatest achievements.
What do you think you are the right person to represent World Universal?
I am a strong independent woman who supports her family as a single mother. I am the right woman to represent this organization. My platform is directly in line with the mission statement of World Universal pageants. I too want to empower others to do good in the world through volunteerism. I am the advocate for change to help our world heal from the pandemic and move in the right direction. I will use the title of Ms. World Universal to make our world a better place. I am determined to change the world! This title will help me reach more people which means helping more people. Everyone needs a helping hand and I am reaching out to give mine to the world. I believe that the sisterhood of the World Universal pageants can make a lot of good happen in our world and I am ready to lead the way with my Volunteerism Challenge as Ms. World Universal
Not everyone will walk away with a crown, so what will you walk away from this experience with?
At every pageant, I have gained at least one new friend. The true sisterhood of pageantry is the reason to compete. I have met so many extraordinary women in pageants that I am proud to call my friends. I even met one of my best friends that I am now the God-Mother to her two children. All thanks to a pageant. Pageants give us friends, confidence, self respect and a sense of accomplishment and thanks to World Universal now I feel that acceptance even with an ileostomy, I FIT IN! I have already won so much with just that alone. Winning is just icing on the cake. And we all LOVE cake!
How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
I lift other women in my community up by working side by side volunteering to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Helping others empowers women to BE the change we need in this world. I am always there for anyone in need to support and uplift through simple conversation or whatever action needed. Sometimes just coffee and a compliment can make someone's day better, even just a smile. I invite all people at any event that I am at to join my Volunteerism Challenge to change our world and make it the routine to volunteer 15 min a month or more if you can. That alone can make an amazing difference! I am the one to encourage volunteerism and lead the way back to love and kindness.
As a titleholder you have to balance being a role model and approachable at the same time. How would you accomplish this if selected?
I believe the only way to be a true role model for others is to be approachable. Volunteerism has always facilitated an environment for me to be approached. When you all work together we realize that no matter what we are all people, no matter how different or alike, and we all struggle and succeed.

What Inspired you to become a part of the World Universal Organization?
Acceptance and encouragement to woman of all biographical profile and age. Most Importantly, the purpose of pageant being supporting 'Cancer Research' 'and search for cure for this widespread disease. Am feeling pride to represent World Universal Organization for such a noble cause, strong reason being I myself escaped from getting caught into an
Ovarian Cancer which I could prevent with my own Instinct and pro-activeness and prompt diagnosis and surgery. The above reason instigated me to participated in this pageant.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
I am still chasing my dreams as due to being in abusive marriage made me more stronger person, leading single handed life, survival, challenges, complexities and change made me regain back my self esteem and self confidence. I also do charities in my own way be it in Australia - Cancer Council and or many small NGO's in India in my town to support old age homes and supporting homeless children/adults with their basic need fulfillment. In our culture a great proverb denotes- "If you donate with one hand, another hand shall not know"- meaning charity is not for show-off its for helping the needful. I believe that inner satisfaction while helping people is my greatest accomplishment.

How do you lift up others in your life & in your community, and why do you think it is important to do so?
I believe - Learning is a continuous process in all walks of life. I would take with me some lifelong memories, greater learning curve with the engagement with co-contestants and associates by learning from their way of reaching out and helping people in many different ways. Apart from this, will learn great communication and leadership skills as a part of the Journey of this great pageant with purpose. Last but not the least, enhanced "Grace and "Poise"- Essence of being a Woman.
